What are you waiting for
First and foremost, Ali was a loving husband, a proud dad and an all-round decent human being to his family and friends. Ali was also an ex-Royal Marine Commando who served our country during the Falklands conflict.
Less than a year ago he was diagnosed with cancer, and whilst he fought valiantly, this was a battle he would not win.
Ali adopted this name during his battle with cancer and had worn a t-shirt with the Royal Marines dagger logo and the words #CancerCommando. This gave him strength on the darkest of days.
On behalf of Ali’s family and friends, thank you for taking the time to visit this website and supporting these two incredible charities.
On Saturday 23rd June 2018, a team of Ali Bray’s family and friends are taking part in ‘Total Warrior’ at Bramham Park in Leeds, to help raise as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support and Overgate Hospice. These two charities were there to help Ali and his family during their time of need.
As most of you know Ali served in the Royal Marines and fought for our country during the Falklands War. Whilst we can't emulate his time in the forces, we can attempt some of the training he will have endured or similar whilst serving.
Total Warrior is the pinnacle of obstacle racing providing the greatest course set in Bramham Park Leeds. The 12K course includes 25 punishing obstacles, 10 tons of ice, 100 tons of mud and if you complete the course, you will get a free beer at the finish line.
Ali Bray Cancer Commando Challenge Team is set up for Total Warrior - Bramham Leeds on Saturday 23rd June with a start time of 11.40am.
Entry price is £62.96 each (+£4.16 transaction fee) = £67.12

On Friday 20th July 2018, Ali’s family and friends are hosting a charity fundraising gig at Elland Cricket Club.
Ali loved his Friday nights out and he also loved live rock music. This is why we are combining both and hosting a fundraising gig in his memory. Our three rock and indie bands are Ali’s personal favourites and his friends too, which will make this fundraising night extra special.
We will also be holding a raffle and an auction on the night to help raise funds for Overgate Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support. If you would like to donate a prize, please email: email@example.com.
Charity gig tickets are £10 each with all proceeds going to the two charities. These can be purchased from any member of the Cancer Commando Fundraising team or from Deb Wilson at Studio 9 Photography, Elland or online via We Got Tickets (+£1 fee).
